I can't believe that this happened... but I was talking to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pekover a while back, when I suggested a J2 AU she could write. We were bouncing ideas back and forth, and then she asked me if I wanted to co-write it with her!
I was very chuffed and said yes, even though I wasn't sure if my writing was really any good. But we went ahead and plotted out the whole thing, wrote up an outline and started writing chapters. I was amazed to find that I was having fun and my writing wasn't too bad (I think!). She helped me beta my sections, and I beta'd hers, and the whole experience has been a ball of fun.
Enough waffling. So here's the first chapter... Feedback would be awesome guys!

(I'm so used to writing our little notes back and forth, it feels a bit weird to be typing something that someone else might see!)
Anyways, yay to us for getting Part 1 done! I think we had fun (mostly - I still harbor some resentment over your callous disregard for all of my "and"s - they were important, each and every one!), and I think it's a good story.
Now, enough chit chat - you're in charge of the first section of the next part, so get writing!
